Nice Guys Do Exist
I just really wanted to share this because this rarely happen. Last Wednesday, my mom, my sister and I were trying to find the perfect white rubber shoes for my sister's nursing duties. Since most of the rubber shoes were not designed as plain white, it was hard to find the one that has a dominant white color. We found one in Skechers but there's no size left for my sister. Then we found another in Adidas; it was dominantly white. The only color it has was the gray streaks because of the Adidas logo and the green blue color inside the shoe. But my mom wouldn't want it for my sister because of the rain issues and all that I don't understand either. Haha. We were at SM Faiview then so we transferred to Fairview Terraces to look some more. We went to almost all the shoe stores there to search for that shoes!
To cut the story short, we ended up buying the one from Adidas. While my sister was fitting the shoes, the lady from Adidas told us that if we were to buy products worth Php 5,000, we would get a free bag! So my sister was pushing me to purchase another shoe, but Nike owns my heart. There's this pair that I wanted to buy at Nike for so long that's why I didn't bother choosing one.
Enter another customer in Adidas. Since my mom is much of a talker at times, she teased the guy (who is buying a shoe like the one she likes also but is only available in SM Fairview) to purchase his shoes with us so we can have a free bag. Hahaha! I know it's so weird of my mom but since this stranger was so nice and so kind, my mom was so successful on charming him. When he was paying at the cashier, he told the cashier to include our purchase together with his so we could have the free bag! Seeee, how nice of him to do that? Given that he went from other malls to Fairview Terraces just to find that shoe he purchased, he even made a way to give us the free bag.:)
It's like humanity really exists at times. Despite this cruel world we live in, there are still people who will make us realize that good people still exists. To that dear stranger, thank you so much for the goodness of your heart. We will forever be reminded of that kind gesture. :)
